Well Hello Honey-Brined Fried Chicken Breasts!

There are so many times throughout the week, and even on the weekends, that I will take out chicken breast from the deep freezer in the basement to thaw, with absolutely no idea what I am going to do with it. Often, I will just season it up a little bit and toss it in the oven. Then we will have it along with some mashed potatoes, rice, or stuffing. It’s boring, but it gets the job done. I was messing around with a few different ingredients that I had on hand one day, and created a honey-brined fried chicken breast that was simply delicious.

It was pretty close to this recipe from All Recipes. I was so amazed at what I had done, I couldn’t wait to share it with my family. My son, who usually won’t touch chicken, gobbled all of his right up!

My husband was also pleasantly surprised that we weren’t just eating the same old chicken again. Now, when I can’t think of anything to do with my boring ol’ chicken breast, I know this is a winning option!
