When it comes to desserts and sweet treats I am partial to traditional goodies.
I can recall my grandma making bread pudding for my family when I was a young girl. Grandma’s bread pudding was amazing. I swear, it reminded me of stuffing but without the savory ingredients haha! Anyway, grandma’s bread pudding was more of a “mess in a casserole dish”. Don’t get me wrong, it was fantastic, but it didn’t really have a shape. Sarah’s bread pudding recipe on the next page produces a dessert you can slice.
I am nothing less than amazed by the Bake With Sarah recipe. if this is what traditional bread pudding is all about then please keep it vintage for this girl!

Quick Tip: Did you know that bread pudding freezes really well? Just wrap it in aluminum foil and place into a Ziploc bag. There you have it!
