On Friday nights, it seems like week after week, my house fills up with a gaggle of teenagers. Our house is right in town, and very close to the school.
My son, God bless him, has a big heart, but he doesn’t always think about the whole picture. He likes to bring all the kids home with him and feed them, give them nice cold beverages, and let them enjoy his video games. The problem is, someone, namely my husband and I, have to pay for and keep up with all of this. That’s why I was so happy when I realized I could make these tasty chicken tenders at home.
They were reasonable to buy, easy to make, and I could feed the group that he decided to bring home. All the kids really enjoyed these and I didn’t mind making them.
Now, when the weekend arrives, I know to get started on these before the bus come chugging down the street. A house full of filled up kids is a lot more peaceful than one full of hungry kids. I’ll take the quiet any day if all it’s going to take is whipping up these little chicken bites.
