It was time for our spring meeting at the church to decide on all the events that we were going to do over the summer.
As part of the committee, it is up to me to come up with special things for the people of the church to take part in when the weather is nice. We do carnivals, garage sales, softball games, trips to the water parks for the kids, all kinds of things. Part of getting to do all this stuff though includes having the money to do it.
I suggested that we do a bake sale after our church service in two weeks to see what we could make. Everyone agreed and went home to make up their best bakery items. When I walked into the hall two weeks later, I was instantly drawn to this rainbow looking dessert that turned out to be a brownie cheesecake.
It was just like this recipe from Facebook. I walked right over to that table and bought every slice that was available for sale. I think I ended up spending close to twenty dollars that day. It was for a good cause though, and the brownie was amazing!
