What a lovely day it turned out to be! I mean, the temp is hanging around 67 degrees but that is okay, at least it stopped raining! It’s been raining cats and dogs here for the past week.
My parents and sister came up last weekend to visit my family and I and it was raining the entire time. It sort of made sightseeing very hard to see. However, we did have lots of good food going for us. I made this delicious pulled pork sandwich recipe that you’ll find on the next page and everyone LOVED it!
Typically, I eat my pulled pork sammies on a regular hamburger bun but this recipe calls for ciabatta rolls. Yum!
I served these delicious sandwiches up with a fresh, green salad, potato chips, and dill pickle spears. Heaven on a plate! Feel free to add your favorite sauce – for my husband that would be the hottest hot sauce he could find, for me I think it would be a very cheesy sauce…
These are also super easy to pack for lunch! No need to go get some takeout during lunch break if you bring these tasty sammies with you!
