My nephew Thomas stopped being picky just a few weeks ago when he learned that his crush loves to eat anything. You know little boys, when they get into that age when they start liking girls, they will do everything to please them. There are only very few boys who actually resort to the “I-will-tease-you-so-I-can-catch-your-attention” method. And most of those boys do not end up getting the girl.
At least that’s how I saw it. Thomas, the ever quiet and sweet Thomas, has decided to listen to the advice of his father and his uncles and it’s working. I heard that the girl and Thomas are actually really good friends now.
My cousin told me she always finds herself baking more often recently because of her son. A couple of weeks ago, she made a cake for the girl’s birthday. A week ago, she made the girl brownies.
And a month ago, she made the girl an apple pie. Well, it’s not really for the girl herself, but it’s for Thomas who always shared the dessert to the girl. Just a couple of days ago, my cousin baked these salted chocolate cookies which the girl ended up loving so she would bake them again this week.
She said that as long as it’s not that serious yet, she would support Thomas’ crush. The recipe for this yummy and chewy chocolate chunk cookies can be found on the next page. Enjoy!
