When I say Sunday’s Best, I’m not talking about clothes. I am actually talking about the day itself. I call it Sunday’s Best whenever I get to relax for the day and I have nothing to do but curl up on the couch with a really good book or watch movies from my laptop. I don’t usually sleep during these types of days. I want to relax, yes, but I want to have fun at the same time. Sleeping will make me miss the activities I could have been doing.
During Sunday’s Best, I sometimes find myself being spoiled by either a friend or my boyfriend. During my last Sunday’s Best though, it was my best friend who spoiled me. She just appeared in front of my house carrying the most delicious-smelling cookies that I have ever encountered and demanded that we have a movie marathon.
Her husband was away that time and he brought my godson with him so she didn’t have anyone at home with her. We enjoyed her almond toffee cookies with a glass of milk each as we watched Anne Hathaway strut her stuff in the movie The Devil Wears Prada. And of course, Meryl Streep was awesome!
