These little taco pockets make the perfect after school snack. I also like to entertain with these when we have guests over. I can make the taco stuffing mixture ahead of time. Then, when it’s time to eat, they are super easy to toss together. The best part? They are done in less than 15 minutes! It’s one way I know I can satisfy a hungry crowd in a hurry! Ingredients
1 package of Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
2/3 cup water
1-1/2 cups Chi-Chi’s thick and chunky salsa
1 pound lean ground beef; cooked and drained
1 can Grands -biscuits pillsbury ( 16.3 ounces) ( any variety you want )
1 cup shredded monterey -jack cheese -or -mexican cheese blend.
1 cup Daisy sour cream ( if desired)
Instructions
heat oven to 375 degrees F.
in medium saucepan, cook taco seasoning mix, water, and 1/2 cup of the salsa and cooked ground beef until thickened.
press each biscuit into 6 inch round. fill each with taco mixture and 1 tablespoon of the cheese. fold dough over filling and press to seal.place on cookie sheet.
bake 9 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
serve with remaining salsa , cheese and sour cream
