I have two boys that are very active in sports. As a result, throughout the year, we are pretty much never home to sit down and enjoy a nice meal. At least not together. Usually, we all just grab whatever we can and scarf it down before heading out to practices and games. I was getting tired of seeing my growing boys fill up on freezer and canned meals though. I wanted to find recipes that I could whip together quickly, that we could actually sit down and enjoy eating.
That’s when I found this recipe on Group Recipes. The first thing that caught my eye was the fact that it could be done in just fifteen minutes! There isn’t much that can be done in that amount of time so it was pretty exciting. I was worried about the flavor, because it seemed pretty boring at first, but it actually turned out really good.
Everyone got their fill and got to make their own taco bake the way they wanted with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and so much more! We have these pretty regularly now because it’s one surefire way to get us all around the table at the same time without having to worry about being late for anything.
