I cannot get over how delicious this cake is.
It’s everything you have ever wanted in a butter pecan layer cake. I think it tastes wonderful with a scoop or two of butter pecan ice cream, however, it is amazing just on its own, too. At first, when I saw the recipe and learned that it was a layer cake, I got worried. In my mind, a layer cake signals a lot of work. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this butter pecan layer cake actually is to make.
If you want to bring a cake to a holiday party or church potluck to impress the masses this is the cake you should be setting your sights on. It’s very pretty! I bet if they were giving away ribbons for cakes this butter pecan layer cake would score itself a lovely blue one. The cake is moist and decadent while the frosting is sweet and creamy. It really doesn’t get much better than that, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy!
