Sweet & Sour Shrimp Better Than Takeout

When my husband and I first got married and moved in together, I was kind of worried about how the cooking was going to work out. I didn’t really mention that I’m not the best in the kitchen. Thankfully, he loves to cook. But, when it’s my turn to take over the meal, I like to prepare this for him. He loves shrimp anything so of course this is one of his favorite dishes. No matter what meat you use, this sauce is amazing. You won’t be able to get enough!

 

Ingredients

1 pound small shrimp, peeled

1/4 pound snow peas

3 tablespoons La Choy soy sauce

2 tablespoons Heinz white vinegar

1/2 cup Dole pineapple juice

2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup chicken broth

 

 

Instructions

In a pressure cooker, combine all ingredients. Close lid, bring to high pressure and lower heat. Cook 3 minutes.
Remove cooker from heat and release pressure.
If sauce needs to be thickened, place back on stove and turn heat on low and stir constantly for a few minutes. Serve hot over rice.
