When my son was younger, he wanted nothing more than the latest video game consoles as soon as they came out.
We got him his first one when he was five years old for Christmas. It really was the beginning of his love for technology. He grew up playing these games with all of his neighborhood friends. He was one of the first ones in our area to have one, so of course as soon as word spread, everyone wanted to come and play. As a result, we always had at least a few kids hanging around.
Sometimes, he would ask that I would make them some snacks so that they didn’t have to stop playing. Cheese dips go with everything, so I used to make a dip just like this one.
I would whip this together and then provide different avenues for eating it including bread, chips, veggies, and whatever else we had in the house. I always made them shut the game off for just a few minutes to come and eat though.
When this was on the table, they didn’t even complain once about taking a break.
