In our little town of about 5,000 people, we only have a few fast food and sit-down restaurants, along with a couple of other places to get a meal when I don’t feel like cooking. Okay, okay, sometimes my husband will step in and do the job but that’s few and far between. I like to get rotisserie chicken from the deli in town because it’s as close to homemade as we can get without me actually making it. So, when I found this recipe on All Recipes, I was really stoked about trying it. The directions looked really simple and if it turned out like I thought, I wouldn’t even have to leave the house to go get dinner! Score!
When I finally put this together, the house was filled with the most amazing scent of cooking chicken, I could hardly wait the entire cook time to eat! When I presented it for my husband and kids they were confused because they didn’t see me leave the house.
I said, “No guys, Mom made this!” They really liked it and asked that I make it again the next time instead of getting the stuff from the store. That’s not going to be a problem!
