I cannot get over how unbelievably tasty these peppered bacon twists are! Both kids and adults alike love them. Yum! Plus, you get the delicious flavors of brown sugar mixed in and corn dough. Talk about packing your palate with a yumfest! And get this, these twists are super easy to make and only take a few minutes to prepare. Make them for your next party of family get-together and watch your friends lick the plate clean haha!
This appetizer was very easy to make! It was probably one of the easiest apps that I’ve ever thrown together for a last minute party food.
Ingredients
1/4 cup packed Domino brown sugar
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 can refrigerated 11 ounce Pillsbury cornbread twists (bought next to biscuits in store)
8 slices of any ready to serve Hormel bacon heated as directed on pkg
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
mix brown sugar, pepper in shallow pan dish, set aside
unroll corn twists dough, separate into 8 long strips; press perforations together in each strip to seal, top each dough strip with bacon slice. and to sugar and pepper mixture turning and coating it all over, then twist topped dough strips slightly, then place on greased baking sheet
bake 11 to 13 min or until lightly browned
