My daughter is very active in sports at her school. She does just about every one that she can, or that her schedule will allow. Some seasons, she is participating in three different things at once! People tell me that it’s too much, but I don’t force her hand at anything. She only signs up for things that she wants to do. If she gets too overwhelmed, I give her the option to drop something. I don’t let her sign up for things though if she has the slightest thought she is going to quit.
I don’t think that’s okay either. Part of her healthy behaviors includes her wanting to eat the right foods. She loves chicken. I can get pretty tired of it after a few days though. I am always looking for new ways to prepare her favorite dish.
When I found this recipe on My Recipes I was excited to try it and hopefully add it into our rotation of many, many chicken dishes. When she liked it I was happy. Then, when me and my husband tried it, I was thrilled.
Now I have a new way to dress up her favorite entree, and it’s something that we can all agree on.
