Eating steak has always been one of my favorite luxuries.
I can remember as a kid my mom would cook steak for the family once a month. it was usually on a Saturday night when my dad didn’t have to work. We’d have steak with grilled onions, mushrooms, and peppers. So yummy! Mom would pair it all up with a baked potato and tossed salad. Great memories!
As an adult with my own family, I try to keep this tradition alive. I can honestly say that I am raising a brood full of steak eaters just like my mother did.
