We Highly Recommend Making A Double Batch Of This
Cucumber salad has always been one of my favorite fresh veggies dishes to eat. Coming from a German family my mom would make this salad just as this recipe describes. I’ve had it with a creamy sauce before but nothing beats this German-style version. The apple cider vinegar adds just the right amount of tang to the salad and I love the crunchy onions and dill fronds. If you know someone who has never had cucumber salad like this before please do them a favor and make them a dish. It’s so, so, good 🙂
This salad will surely please a crowd! It’s great for potlucks and picnics, not just because it’s flavorful and fresh but also because it’s super easy to make! This German-style cucumber salad complements pretty much any meal. Serve this at your next party or the first BBQ of the season, and you’ll see people line up for seconds.

Quick Tip: Recipe must chill for 2 hours in the fridge to allow for the flavors to blend.
Your directions say to cut cucumbers in half length wise and scrape the seeds out however the picture you are showing show cucumber slices with seeds…..Which is the right way??????
They are both the right way, Randy. Choose the one that works best for you 🙂
Usually I take the seeds out, as sometimes they can leave a.bitter taste but either way is ok.
