Just a while ago it was my birthday. So, once again, I have gotten another year older and I found myself asking, have I done things that would push me closer to my dream? People often have thoughts like this when they get a year older, don’t they? It doesn’t just come with age. It comes with experience. When you’re older, you’re aware of the things you’re doing.
You’re more aware of your path and how you’re traveling through that path. It’s the reason why you can adjust your methods because you know now how to best reach your goals. Why am I having these thoughts?
Because when you’re cooking something using a slow cooker, you will have so much time to think about a lot of things. And most of them involve the people you care about, the life you are living, and of course thoughts about how you want your life to still go on, your thoughts about the future.
So while we were eating and I told my boyfriend my worries about the future, he told me that I was overthinking again (I always am). He told me that the future lies on our ability to live the present so that’s what I should focus on for now. Well, he has a point.

Quick Tip: If you can’t find the larger packet of brown gravy mix (one that makes 2 cups of gravy) then you can use two smaller packets.
