My family loves cheeseburgers. Actually, we really just love burgers in general. We have a tradition that we have kept since long ago that Sunday afternoons are for burgers. We break out the grill, put some patties and hot dogs on it, and then we also start frying some tater tots. After a hearty BBQ dinner, we crank up the fire pit and have some s’mores and chat by the fire as we close the day. It has just become a tradition that we all know and love.
Now, every so often, we have a really hard time keeping that tradition up. We either have guests over, or plans that will wreck our afternoons at home. There are so many of us living in different households that we end up having a hard time all coming together to eat dinner for such an extended period of time.
So, instead of skipping our tradition altogether, we started looking out for new and cool recipes that would keep our tradition alive. Well, after much searching, we found this recipe which allowed us all to bond over burgers, without spending hours preparing and cooking! This has been such a neat recipe for us to enjoy on those rushed afternoons.
