Nestle up by the fireplace and enjoy a mugful of holiday cheer.
When me and some of the girls were hanging out in the lunchroom at work one day, one of them was eating cake out of a coffee mug. I saw her put it in the microwave, but I had no idea what was going on. I didn’t say too much in front of everyone else, but when the room cleared, I stopped her and asked about what she was eating. She looked at me like I was nuts because I had no idea what she was eating. “You’ve never made these before?!?” I felt slightly embarrassed, but that wasn’t going to stop me from asking her for the recipe. She said, “I’ll do you one better. We can make them tomorrow on our lunch break.”
I can tell you one thing is for sure, I don’t think I have ever looked more forward to going into work than I did that day. The morning seemed to drag on and on. When we finally got to go to lunch, I practically ran to the break room. She was there waiting with all the ingredients.
These were so simple to whip up, they were done in like a minute. The recipe she used was just like this one from Kirbie’s Cravings. I use it at home all the time now. It’s way better than trying to make a whole cake!
