I have always been more of a chocolate fudge person myself, but I have to say these were amazing! Next time I make these I’m going to try and add chopped nuts, too. Perhaps half dried apples, half chopped almonds..? Sounds good to me! Heck, it’s fudge so I’d be willing to eat it anyway it’s served. Fudge is one of those holiday treats that is insanely easy to make and everyone tends to love it.
What type of fudge will you be making this holiday season?
Ingredients
1 cup Chopped Dried Apples
14 ounces, weight Dulce De Leche
21 ounces, weight White Chocolate Chips
3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1-1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
Instructions:
Chop the dried apples into small pieces; set aside. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with wax paper.
Place the dulce de leche, white chocolate chips, butter, and salt in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave in 1-minute increments, stirring vigorously in between, until totally smooth. This will take about 3–6 minutes, depending on your microwave oven. Once the liquid fudge is smooth, stir in the chopped dried apples.
Pour the fudge into the prepared baking dish, spread evenly with a spatula. Place in the refrigerator to cool and set for at least 2 hours.
Once firm enough to cut, lift the fudge out of the baking dish by the edges of the wax paper and cut into squares. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.

Quick Tip: Sprinkle some nuts over the top as the fudge cools, for an extra crispy crunch.
