This Pecan Pie Is Deeper Than My Parents In The 1960s

I don’t know about you guys and gals but I am a huge sucker for pecan pie and not just any old pecan pie but homemade, deep-dish pecany goodness.

Just like this recipe! I love making pecan pies but since my youngest son has a tree nut allergy I don’t get to enjoy them very much.

So, whenever we are going to a friends place for dinner or it’s a holiday I will make pecan pie just as once-in-awhile treat. It’s like meeting up with an old friend again 🙂 You might think that making deep dish pecan pie is a difficult task but it truly is not.

In fact, I found this recipe to be incredibly easy to conquer. I didn’t have to spend too much time in the kitchen and the pie came out amazingly well. The best part? Eating the pie, of course!
