My husband and I have a house makeover project that has been going on for the past year or so.
We finally moved to our studies last weekend. Well, my husband has his study and I have my small library. I have a huge collection of books, which can fit a small room. His study and the small library were once a large room. We decided to split it when we moved in because he didn’t need a large one for his study while I need a small room for all of my books.
So anyway, while our kids were playing in their room, my husband and I were busy decorating those two rooms. It was a bit easier because there were only a few things to move around and to cover. He had his study painted green, while I had my small library painted maroon.
I told him we should just destroy the wall separating the two rooms in December so that we can have a Christmas themed house. Green and maroon-really. My husband and I have the weirdest ideas sometimes.
We finished early with our work and I still have time to prepare a dessert for dinner that could serve as our reward. We had the most amazing butterscotch pudding tart for dessert that night.

Quick Tip: In making caramel, make sure that you use a heavy-bottomed pan so that the sugar heats evenly and there is no scorching.
