I am one of those women who thinks that she has to do it all. I’m sure you know the kind I am talking about. Maybe you are too, maybe you know one, either way, these aren’t easy shoes to fill. I work a full-time job during the day. Then, when I come home at night, I take on the roll of a stay-at-home mom. I try to do everything I can for my kids so that they don’t notice that I am gone all day long. When they are in school, it works out okay, but the summer months are tough.
Anyways, one of my jobs in the mom roll is making a nice homemade dinner for my family. Those weeks that I am working ten and twelve hour days…not always an option.
That’s when my slow cooker becomes my best friend. Thankfully, I found this recipe for slow cooker chicken and dumplings on All Recipes.
It is so simple to make and my family always loves it. Best of all, it cooks while I’m working! It’s one of my favorites.
