Homemade is always better. At least that is what my grandma always says. She says that if you can buy it delicious on the street, you can make it for cheaper and taste better at home. I used to think it was just something that grandmas said, but I later learned that yeah, it is true, they did say that, but they are right about it, too! It is totally easy to just buy something delicious and not worry about making it.
But when you actually put your time and effort into something, I think it just automatically tastes better and you are able to enjoy it more because you made it yourself! Since I have realized that what she says is true, I really try to make everything I can at home now.
I no longer let myself get carried away with buying things out on the street, but instead when I try something I like when I am out, I try to go home and figure out a recipe so I can always enjoy it from the comfort of my home. One of those favorite things I have tried is the Starbuck’s lemon loaf. I knew I liked it and this recipe takes it up a notch!
