Never Look At French Toast The Same Way Again

The Easter holiday was coming up, and I was so excited. Both of my college student children, well adults now, were going to be home to visit for the first time since Christmas. I wanted to make their time at home a good one, and full of homemade meals. That’s what they asked for when I talked to them….nothing else, just homemade food. I went right to my computer and started searching for a variety of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and even snack and appetizers. The one that I was most excited about was the French toast casserole.

My kids both loved French toast, and I was considering making it, I just didn’t want to be stuck in the kitchen making it while they were in the dining room visiting. This dish allowed me to make something that they loved, all in one big pan.

That way, when it came time to eat, we could all sit down together and enjoy a fabulous tasting meal, and I wouldn’t miss a second with them. It went together super fast and easy, and it tasted just as good as I had hoped. I’ll be keeping this recipe around a while!
