I love pecan pie. I think I have mentioned in the past how much I hated nuts at one point, but now? They are my favorite thing to incorporate into a dessert. They are full of crunch, texture and flavor that add so much dimension and goodness to a pie or any other dessert really. There are just so many different things that can be done with nuts in both savory and sweet dishes. I think what I actually love most about them is how versatile they are.
Oh, so delicious and so perfect in anything and everything. With such a crazy love for nuts, I am always on the lookout for a tried and true recipe that will really knock my socks off. You know, something that incorporates just the right amount of nuts, has good flavor, has perfect texture and does not compare to any other dessert.
