Even If You’re Rich And Famous, You’re Going To Want To Eat This Again And Again
There’s this one dish that I consider one of my all-time favorites. To me, it’s comfort food at its best. It’s so easy to make even a kid could do it! The ingredients are inexpensive and you can get them pretty much anywhere in the world – in case you happened to feel a little homesick while traveling… Even as a kid I was always so excited when I came home from school and Mom had cooked this meal.
We were a large family living on a small farm, and we often had friends, cousins or occasional farm workers over for lunch or dinner. My mother was really good at whipping up big meals out of nothing, basically! She often needed to cook a meal for a crowd really fast.
I believe this was one of her favorite recipes, too, because we always had these simple ingredients available. And she definitely didn’t have to spend hours in the kitchen making it!

i love this stuff. don’t put water–use v-8 juice
I use tomato soup instead of water
Throw in a few beef bouillon cubes for extra flavor!
my Father’s recipe we always included 1tbsp of Keenes dry mustard 2 cups of cubed stalet bread and shredded cheddar cheese the sharp kind as well as chopped celery . This is still one of my favorite meals 50 years later
What in the world happened to ground italian sausage, green peppers, oregano, salt (just a little), black pepper, dry parsley and your choice of pasta sauce. These are some things I add to mines and I use a 1lb box of macaroni pasta. It is delicious. (I have recently started using whole wheat pasta).
I add 1pkg lipton soup and 1tbsp italain seasoning. So yummy!
