Whenever our local diner has Italian meatball subs on special, we always run right down there. They are so good, it’s not an option to pass them up. I always thought, if I could make these at home, we could probably save a great deal of money. I started looking online and found a recipe for a meatball sandwich casserole on Group Recipes. I thought, how can this be true?
I went over the ingredients list and the instructions and it looked not only delicious, but also pretty simple to put together. I picked up all the ingredients on my next shopping trip and tried my hand at the dish. It turned out great, and my family just loved it.
The five of us gobbled up the entire thing. My middle son even said, “This is better than the one at the restaurant!” I think we have a winner folks!
This is going to be a new regular at our house. I wonder what we should spend our extra money on though?
