After the holidays have past, just about every party food you could ever think of has been served, eaten, served, and eaten again. By the time February rolls around, you are sick of the traditional. At least that was the case for me and my family. It just so happens that February is another big special occasion month for us. We have four birthdays and an anniversary party that all take place.
One of those events, I am in charge of the food. I wanted to give my guests something different than the stuff they have been eating for the past three months; turkey, ham, chicken, roast beef… I searched the web and came up with this Spicy BBQ Slider recipe on The Pioneer Woman.
It looked delicious so I just had to try it. At the party, they disappeared so fast I had to whip up another batch. Good thing they were easy to make! Now, when the old classics have been played out, this is the recipe card that I will be reaching for.
