Lightning Fast Peach Dumplings

Whenever I know my kids are going to have a long day at school, I whip these up right before they get home. It only takes about a half hour and the smell in the house is incredible. The relief and smiles that wash over their faces when they walk in the door is worth every minute of preparation. They always give me a great big hug and “Thanks, Mom!” which in  my opinion, is what life’s all about. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Spend with Pennies:

“My family always requests this Peach Dumplings recipe when the weather starts to get warmer in the spring because this dessert tastes exactly like we imagine a sun-ripened summer day would if it had a flavor!”
