The first time I ever had Italian Wedding soup was at my Aunt Tina’s wedding. I was only a little girl so I was a little unsure if I would like it. It was the most amazing thing that I had ever had! I went back for several servings and then never had it again until I was an adult. There was a restaurant in town that served it once in a while. It was good, but not as good as I remembered from my childhood.
I thought to myself that there had to be a recipe out there that mimicked that wonderful dish. I found this one on Group Recipes and it sounded pretty close so I gave it a shot. It was absolutely perfect.
This was the Italian Wedding soup that I had been looking for all those years. I couldn’t believe that I had finally found it. I shared it with my kids and they loved it too!
Now we can have this amazing dish whenever we want. Sometimes I will make a double batch and put the leftovers in the freezer so all we have to do is thaw it out when that craving hits. A favorite at our dinner table!
