Kids and adults alike that share a love for macaroni and cheese fit into their own group. I for one, am part of that group. Whenever we go to a restaurant or potluck dinner and macaroni and cheese is an option, no matter the flavor, I am putting it on my plate. (Or requesting it be put on my plate.) There are so many different ways to make the dish, no matter where I go, it never tastes the same twice.
Except for my own mac and cheese of course. I usually make a homemade version with either processed cheese or in the over with a sharp cheddar blend.
Now, both of those are good and huge crowd pleasers among my mac and cheese loving family, but nothing has ever compared to this gourmet style white cheddar mac and cheese recipe that I found on Group Recipes…WOW!
That’s all I can really say about it. The flavor is amazing. When I made it the first time, my kids thought that I got it from the restaurant and just brought it home and warmed it up. That’s how good this stuff is!

Quick Tip: Use whatever pasta you have on hand. I love it with shells!
I have a question on the amount of pasta. Your recipe says 3/4 of a box of pasta. Excuse me, but what size of box? This is an important item, obviously, but pasta boxes come in many sizes! Please explain! Thank you.
