I remember the first time I tried a Reuben sandwich…I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I was always a little apprehensive about trying corned beef just because we didn’t have it when I was a kid. Then my brother-in-law talked me into this sandwich. I was instantly in love. Every time I visited a restaurant that had them on the menu, that’s what came on my plate. Then I was browsing for party foods one day on All Recipes and came across this Reuben dip. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
I was so excited to try it, I didn’t even wait for the party. I rushed out and picked up the ingredients and made it that very same night.
Well, I ate pretty much the entire dish myself. It was the most wonderful dip that I had ever had. I called my brother-in-law right away and told him all about it.
He said, “The next time you come over, bring it with you!” And that’s just what I did for my nephew’s birthday. It was a huge crowd pleaser among the whole family.
I have found my new favorite appetizer and I make it very regularly now. You just have to try it for yourself to see what I’m talking about!
