When I was younger, I spent much time researching the Italian culture. I was obsessed with it. The food, the language, the history. Everything about it intrigued me and I loved learning more and more about it. Although I loved all aspects of it, what I loved most was the food. Oh, everything about it was so delicious, from the amounts of cheese in it, to the coffee and chocolate.
There was just nothing about the culture that I could say I did not like. It was flavorful and so delicious and worth every calorie consumed for it. Well, after searching for a long time, I finally got my opportunity to go to Italy.
I was about 13 years old, but unfortunately, it was on a cruise and only got to see Italy for one day. Well, little did I know, about 7 years later, I would be back with my husband and he would not stop until I got my long ago dreamed of cannoli.
It was such a fun experience to walk into a shop and watch them make it before your very eyes, and it was even more delicious once I got to taste it. So flavorful, so rich and so yummy.
