You’ll want to lick your fingers clean.
Sometimes, I just crave a down-on-the-farm type of meal. These meals typically consist of some form of BBQ. BBQ chicken is always my favorite. This particular recipe really ups the ante of BBQ by combining honey and mustard to the mix. The chicken comes out sticky, lip-smacking, and delightful. Make sure you have plenty of napkins for this one! My husband and kids were so overjoyed when they came home from work and school to see this masterpiece sitting on the table.
I have some of the pickiest eaters of all time living under my roof, meaning my boys, and even they gave this chicken two thumbs up. I think mainly because it was a sticky mess and they had BBQ sauce everywhere. Oh well, I wasn’t discouraged because the boys actually ate their food.
This recipe for honey mustard chicken is very easy to make and you can double the batch if you need too. I made a double batch because I wanted leftovers for the next day’s lunches. I have been told that this BBQ chicken also freezes well. Enjoy!

Quick Tip: The longer you can allow it to marinate the more flavor it will have, but if you don’t have time for it to marinate, it’s perfectly delicious without it, too.
