My husband works very hard at his job. Part of his description requires him to travel across the country to different locations to help and train others that are working in the same business that he does. I’m happy that he is so successful, but it can be stressful when he is gone. It leaves me to take care of every aspect of the house, kids, and our lives.
When he comes home after long stays away, we always welcome him with wide open arms and lots of hugs and kisses. I like to make him a nice homemade meal too, because I know he isn’t getting that on the road.
One of his favorite main entrees is the pork chops that I make. Last time he left, I wanted to surprise him with something a little bit different, so I took a recipe that I found from All Recipes and altered my dish a little bit.
When he came home, he was excited to see his favorite cut of meat dressed up the way I had done it. He gobbled it right down and went back in for seconds. This is one that we are going to have time and time again I can just tell!
