My cousin celebrated her 18th birthday at Bubba Gump shrimp shop. At the time, I had never been to a restaurant that served only seafood so I had my doubts about going. I am not a huge seafood lover, but it was my cousin’s 18th birthday so I was definitely going! I will admit, I did eat a snack before heading out because I did not know what I would find to eat when I got there. I was not stuffed when I went to the party, but I was definitely not hungry.
Well, when we got there, I took a look at the menu and realized that this was not only seafood. They had different styles to prepare chicken as well. The one that caught my eye was the Crispy Coconut Chicken. I was enthralled. I mean, what exactly would it be like to eat a crispy, deep fried chicken tender that is coated in coconut?
It seemed a little crazy, but totally delicious. I ordered it and was hooked. It was amazing! Full of flavor, really juicy and just a tad of sweetness from the coconut made for a wonderful piece of chicken! This was a winner!
