My husband and I traveled to Rome for our honeymoon a couple years back. We had spent all our lives dreaming of going to Europe on our honeymoon and we were so glad to discover the other was just as excited about Europe. You know, some people really prefer to go to Hawaii, or a road trip in the US, but we both wanted Europe which was such a welcome and reassuring moment when it was time to book our honeymoon.
We were both elated! We chose Rome and Paris and both were positively amazing! Well, we spent so much time searching for the perfect hotel, tours, sightseeing excursions, and the like, but we paid no attention to food and restaurants.
We just figured we would eat whenever we were hungry wherever we were. Well, as much as we both are perfectionists and planners, we agreed on that method and it did not fail us. We got to try so many new and exciting things.
One of our favorite memories was our last night in Rome. We were looking for a place to eat and ended up enjoying a wonderful dinner in view of the Colosseum. I mean, how cool is that?!
