Check out what my friends at Skinny Ms. had to say about this slow cooker herb crusted turkey breast:
I made it with the sliced turkey breast fillets and it turned out great. Not dry at all. It did cook in about 3 hours but it also was a total of about 2.3 lbs instead of 2.5.
That’s a great idea! I would be open to trying it that way. I don’t see how anything could come out dry in a crock pot, everything I’ve made in mine is moist and delish! I make sure to keep some chicken stock on hand and add it as needed with any dish.
Ingredients
2 1/2 lb. turkey breast (on the bone and had skin that we removed before eating)
1 tbsp. McCormick garlic powder
1 tbsp McCormick poultry seasoning
1 tsp McCormick dried thyme
1/4 tsp. McCormick black pepper
1 tbsp. McCormick onion powder
Directions
Mix all the spices together in a small mixing bowl.
Place your turkey breast on a plate and cover both sides with spices. It should be completely coated in spice mix.
Place in slow cooker (no liquid) and cook as directed. Recommend 5-7 quart slow cooker.
Time: 4-5 hours or until it reaches at least 165 degrees F. on a meat thermometer.
Temp: Low

Quick Tip: Be sure to keep the skin on the turkey as it cooks, this offers all the more flavor!
Thank you to Skinny Ms. for this awesome recipe!
