Oh, wow! This brings back sweet memories of my favorite childhood cake.
Mom used to have to hide her oatmeal cakes from me… I loved them so much! Sweet, nutty and moist, this is a wonderful recipe full of delicious nostalgia. My grandma would make a cake just like this when I was a little child. It would make her whole house smell so warm, cozy, and inviting. You gotta love granny’s cooking!
One of the best things about this exciting oatmeal cake is how moist it turns out. Most oatmeal cakes are just naturally on the dry side but not this one! It falls apart on your fork it is so moist.
Plus, this oatmeal cake is insanely easy to make. Anyone can master this yummy dessert. If you make this cake would you please leave me a comment and tell em how it turns out for you? I always love hearing from you guys and gals.

Quick Tip: This is one of the cakes that you could serve with ice cream, Cool Whip, or even applesauce!
Would be nice if your receipes were printer friendly!!!
yeah, printer friendly would def help…don’t understand why very few are and most not.
All you have to do is highlight and copy. You can copy into a document and print from there or you can right click to highlight and print. I copy into a document so I can save a copy on my computer as well as print it out.
Sounds delicious…..do you have a carb count per serving? My husband is diabetic and I need to know carb counts.
Thank you.
