Grandma’s French Toast Soufflé Will Set Hearts On Fire

Chyna’s life revolved around the kitchen. When we were kids, she didn’t hang out with us, which is why she didn’t become a member of our group. We’re still friends though because you couldn’t not like Chyna. She’s very gentle, caring, generous, and very kind. Whenever she wanted to hang out, we always hung out with her. She’s just that friendly and you couldn’t say no to her.

She grew up helping her mother in the kitchen, not because she was forced to, but she was seriously intrigued in cooking. By sixth grade, she already has this compilation of recipes which her mother hand taught her. She was serious about this since we were kids.

We kind of lost contact after high school because she moved to a college in another city. I just bumped into her a few days ago at the supermarket and we went to a coffee shop to catch up. She then invited me for dinner, which I couldn’t say no to.

As we caught up with each other’s lives, I helped her prepare our dinner, which was a simple French toast souffle made of the breads she has at home. It was so good I happened to finish to slices. I guess she truly hasn’t lost her touch and still continued with her passion.

This recipe that I will share with you reminds me of that piece of heaven I ate in her house that day.
