My Aunt Jamie always made the best desserts. Whenever my mom would say we were taking the two hour ride to her house, I didn’t even mind the fact that I was going to be stuck in the backseat of our tiny car with my rambunctious twin brothers.
I knew that when we got to her door, she would have something amazing for us to try. One of those times, she greeted us with a jello pretzel dessert that was like something I had never tasted.
It was sweet, salty, crunchy, and packed full of flavor. I ate at least three pieces myself that first setting. She had to make another pie the next day…because of course we were spending the night.
I found the same recipe on Recipe Lion not that long ago, and decided that I was going to make it for my daughter’s upcoming birthday. She loved it.
She isn’t a real big frosting and and cake kind of person so this was the perfect solution. It’s a yummy treat all year long!
