Not only do these pair up nicely with pasta, they are also an awesome snack. When my kids come home from school, sometimes I will offer them these for a quick bite before we have to head out somewhere. They are just enough to fill us up until we can make it home for dinner time. I like to dip mine in marinara or pizza sauce. My kids love theirs with ranch. You won’t believe how amazing these are until you try them out for yourself!
Ingredients
1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 Tbsp butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 c. Kraft parmesan cheese, grated
2 pieces Sargento string cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven according to crescent rolls package directions
Mix together butter, garlic, salt, basil and oregano.
Cut each piece of string cheese the long way and then in half, so you will end up with 8 pieces.
Unroll crescent rolls then brush each with the butter mixture. Place a piece of sting cheese on the long end of the crescent roll and then roll up. Place on baking sheet.
Brush tops of crescent rolls with butter mixture and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake according to package directions.
