Whenever my twin daughters want to plan a sleepover party, I know I’m in for a night. With there being two of them, I feel like there are double the girls, double the giggles, and double the hunger. Not that I don’t enjoy catering to them and their friends…once in a while, it’s just a lot of work. Commonly, takeout pizza is the answer. Although, sometimes I will feel overly productive and want to make something for them from my own kitchen.
That’s just exactly what happened when I found this recipe on The Pioneer Woman. It was so simple, so versatile, and so cheap, I couldn’t wait to make them.
They were actually pretty fun and I let all the girls get in on the action topping their own pizzas in the way that they wanted them. They turned out way better than I had expected considering it was just a sub bun with pizza on top of it.
Now we make these at home about once a week. They are so easy and affordable, it’s our new answer to pizza night.
