What comes to mind when you hear the word “cobbler”?
For me, it is fruit and pudding desserts with a pie crust topping all baked to a perfection. Basically, I always envisioned cobbler to be a dessert. Well, folks, that is about to change as this recipe is for a steak cobbler. Yep. You read that right. A steak cobbler! Have you ever heard of such a thing? Well, let me tell ya, I am glad that I did!
I was poking around over on Facebook and found this delightful recipe for steak cobbler. At first, I did a double take and had to read that title again. Who on earth ever heard of a meat cobbler before? Certainly, not I!
My husband and kids totally wrecked this cobbler at dinnertime. Seriously, there was barely enough left for me! Next time I make this I’ll be sure to double the batch. I think steak cobbler would be a great dish to pass at a church potluck or family get-together. Everyone loves it!
