I finished a project lately. Whenever I am able to accomplish something really difficult, I make sure to reward myself. Psychology says that a reward system is a good motivator for oneself. It pushes you to work hard for something because you know that you wll be able to gain a reward for yourself. Studies suggest that you should reward yourself with something that you don’t have yet or something that you haven’t done yet.
In that way, you will work harder to gain that reward. In my case, my reward system is always food. I cook myself something that I haven’t done before, but something that I’ve been wanting to try for forever.
This baked chicken mushroom recipe is my reward to myself after accomplishing that project, which has been stressing me out for months. I found this recipe a long time ago, but this was the first time I was able to try it. The good thing about this was it’s baked chicken so I didn’t need to watch over it all the time or even to continue stirring it.
It would just cook by itself. This was probably the best thing that I’ve ever after those stressful days. And this is now part of my list of favorite recipes.
