Enjoy A Hot Plate full Of Uncle Neil’s Honey Sesame Chicken – You Won’t Be Sorry!

No need for takeout – this homemade meal is so much better.

My Uncle Neil is quite the cook, however, his food always seems to have a hillbilly feel to it. It’s probably due to the fact that Uncle Neil was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains. My uncle can cook up anything from squirrel to turtle soup. I’m not a massive fan of those types of small game foods but hey, if I had to, I’d eat ’em. I recently had another baby and it is a tradition for friends, family, and church members to bring meals to the house for a week or two. Uncle Neil volunteered.

I have to admit, I was really scared about what Uncle Neil would bring to us. I wasn’t in the mood for a groundhog or some other critter that most folks view as rodents, on my plate. Uncle Neil really surprised my husband and I.

He brought us honey sesame chicken. I did a major double-take! Where on earth did my uncle even learn how to make this dish? I asked him that and he said, “Youtube.” I did another double take.
