These are awesome to take when I have to supply a dessert for a potluck or family gathering. They make a decent sized pan’s worth, and you can cut them up pretty small. They are so rich and flavorful, you don’t need a huge piece to satisfy your sweet tooth. I like to make them at home for special occasions and birthdays too. My husband’s favorite is Reese’s so he just loves these! Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Food.com:
“These bars are EXTREMELY RICH and not for people with a fear of CHOCOLATE and PEANUT BUTTER (if those people actually exist)!!! Very easy no bake 5 ingredient recipe!”
You don’t need much of this to satisfy your sweet tooth. A regular pan goes a real long way!
Ingredients
1 1⁄2 cups Honey Maid graham cracker crumbs
1 lb confectioners’ sugar (3 to 3 1/2 cups)
1 1⁄2 cups Jif peanut butter
1 cup butter, melted
1 (12 ounce) bag Hershey’s milk chocolate chips
Instructions
Combine graham crumbs, sugar and peanut butter and mix well.
Blend in melted butter until well combined.
Press mixture evenly into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Melt chocolate chips in microwave or in double boiler.
Spread over peanut butter mixture.
Chill until just set and cut into bars (these are very hard to cut if the chocolate gets “rock hard”.
