Chiyo and Calvin are fond of Reese’s peanut butter cups. I don’t want them indulging in too much chocolate though, but I make sure that they get a treat once in a while so that they will not crave too much. Whenever they behave while I am working, I promise them that I will give them a treat at the end of the day. I usually give them one piece of their favorite dessert or chocolate and halve it for them.
Most of the time, it’s a cookie because cookies are far healthier than any other candy or chocolate. But if I am particularly generous, I give them a Reese’s cup. I divide it into two and give each half to them.
This particular slow cooker cake recipe is something that I learned from my best friend since my godson loves Reese’s too. She said she got this from a site and shared with me the recipe so I can prepare it for my family. I made it one weekend during tea time and it’s a hit!
My husband paired it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream just because he could while I pair mine with just a cup of coffee. I gave a small slice to each of my twins because they needed to taste this. They begged for another, but sorry, boys.
Too much of a good thing is bad! Anyway, I’m sure you will love to learn about this recipe. Please go over to the next page for the list of ingredients and instructions!
